Who We Are

Central Boat and RV Repairs (formerly NZ Composite Tech) is a specialist composite and paint repair shop with over 40 years’ combined hands-on experience. We focus on practical, reliable workmanship and straightforward communication, giving the same level of care to every job, no matter the size. Our core work includes boat and caravan/campervan repairs, high‑performance vehicle body repairs, GRP and carbon fibre repairs, fibreglass/gelcoat and paint restoration, and composite mould manufacture, including advanced vacuum infusion processes. Alongside repair work, we also help with prototype builds, laminate structures and one‑off, bespoke projects. If you have an idea, we’re happy to talk it through, offer advice and work out a realistic way to make it happen.

Our qualifications include: Trade Qualified Shipwright/Boat Builder, Trade Qualified Spray Painter, and advanced training in closed moulding (vacuum infusion).
